    MEMO TO                 ALL WGAP CLUB PRESIDENTS/TOURNAMENT
                                         CHAIRPERSONS

   SUBJECT           :         WGAP 3rd Leg VALLEY GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB


  TOURNAMENT DATE    June 7, 2010 (Monday) Class A, B and C
  TOURNAMENT FEE    P1,900.00 inclusive of golf cart
  CADDY FEE        P400.00 (to be paid to caddie directly)
  SLOPE RATE    134 (Red Tee)
  HANDICAP TO BE USED     May 2010 Handicap


SHOTGUN FORMAT:

6:30 am for all of Class B and ½  Class A:  Registration is from 5:00 – 6:00 am at the Clubhouse lobby.  
Scorecards will be distributed to all the players.  All players must register.  Players should be at their
assigned holes 15 minutes before shotgun start.  Players who arrive at their hole after the shotgun is
fired will be disqualified.  The tournament must be played in 5 hours and 15 minutes.  The siren or
shotgun will sound off at 11:45 a.m. to signify the end of game for all players
.  Everyone must
immediately pick-up their ball and leave the course.  Players who do not complete 18 holes will incur
an X score for any unfinished hole.

Note:

  • Players must return immediately to the clubhouse and settle their scorecards as the golf
    carts used may be needed for the afternoon shotgun. 

12:15 pm for all of Class C & ½ Class A:  Registration is from 10:30 to 12:00 noon at the Clubhouse lobby.
 Scorecards will be distributed to all the players.  All players must register.  Players should be at their
assigned holes 15 minutes before shotgun start.  Players who arrive at their hole after the shotgun is fired
will be disqualified.  The tournament must be played in 5 hours and 15 minutes.  The siren or shotgun will
sound off at 5:30 p.m. to signify the end of the game for all players.
  Everyone must immediately pick-up

  • Please note:  Half of Class A will play in the A.M. and the remaining half in the P.M. Changes may
    be made to the schedule and division of classes depending on the number of entries submitted
    on May 31, 2010
    .
    The committee reserves the right to make the necessary changes.

PRACTICE ROUNDS:

Wednesday and Thursday, June 2 and 3, 2010.  Rate is P1,350.00 per player.  This does not include caddy
fee and miscellaneous fee.  Golf carts are available.  Please inform the registration that you are a WGAP
member to avail of this rate.  Please call ahead to check if there is a tournament scheduled for that day.

CELL PHONE USE:

Cell phones can only be used:

  • FOR READING & OR SENDING MESSAGES, WITHOUT CAUSING UNDUE DELAY
  • USE OF CELL PHONE FOR VOICE CALLS ON THE GOLF COURSE IS CONSIDERED A SERIOUS
    BREACH OF GOLF ETIQUETTE
  • CELL PHONES MUST ALWAYS BE ON THE SILENT MODE

 

GOLF CARTS:    

One (1) Golf Cart will be provided for 3 players.  Golf bags may NOT be loaded.  Caddies are allowed to
drive the golf cart.  ONLY senior ladies aged 55 & above may rent their own golf cart at their own
expense and may load their golf bags.
 Golf Cart rental P800.00.

Deadline for submission of entries:  May 31, 2010 (on or before 1 p.m.)   

Cancellations and substitutions deadline:  June 2, 2010 (on or before 1:00p.m.).
All cancellations and substitutions must be submitted via email only. Substitutions may only be done
for the same class.  When making substitutions or cancellations please send your complete revised
line-up and highlight the change.
