Venue: Malaysia
The Women’s Golf Association of the Philippines continues to make its mark on the international stage! From July 28 to 30, 2026, three of our exceptional players traveled to compete in the prestigious 40th Malaysian Ladies Open, bringing their top-tier game and unwavering WGAP spirit to the fairways.
Sending a delegation to an event of this caliber is a testament to the dedication, skill, and competitive excellence of our members. We are incredibly proud of the athletes who carried the Philippine flag and represented our community with grace and sportsmanship.
Our Philippine Delegation
The tournament featured fierce competition from across the region, and our ladies stepped up to the challenge across two major divisions:
- Lia Duque – Open Class Division
- Jordan Paige Ouano – Open Class Division
- Vicky Herrera – Mid-Amateur Division
Competing internationally is no small feat. We extend our warmest congratulations to Lia, Jordan Paige, and Vicky for their hard work and for flying the WGAP colors high. You continue to inspire the next generation of Filipina golfers!
